Fatigue
Our body is a receptor for energy. Our life depends on it. We get 'charged' with energy from healthy and nourishing foods, pure water, sunshine, exercise as well as restful sleep. But we also get charged when we hear happy news, when we see the world through positive thoughts.
But when we eat "man-made food" full of toxins such as coloring, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and flavor enhancers like MSG, or we constantly feel bombarded by emotional or mental stress and we do not have the 5 minutes to recharge in the light of sunshine, our energy slowly but steadily starts to run low, the battery begins to run out, and some blame it on age.
To 'pick ourselves up' we tend to look for energy substitutes.
Caffeine is the most commonly used drug in North America. Caffeine stimulates the brain and artificially and chemically lessens fatigue. Yet, ten (10) grams of caffeine accumulated suddenly in a human body would result in death. Caffeine causes the liver and kidneys to work overtime to rid the body of it. Continuous use of caffeine devitalizes the body to the point where the adrenal glands become so over-stimulated that it takes a high level of caffeine just to feel normal.
