"My son Oliver, had a triple whammy at birth; caesarean, immediate antibiotics and limited breast-feeding success. There was much stress in our home prior to and after his birth. He experienced recurrent ear infections, ultimately tubes and multiple antibiotic courses. A perforated eardrum intersected a recalcitrant fungal infection in the outer ear canal; about 7 procedures of debridng and application of gentian violet, and later a different antifungal which resolved with a grafted patch on the eardrum and onward. Much prayer as well: praise God for His healing power.
"In the last several years, Ollie had weak immunity, frequent colds and congestion despite a robust and energetic constitution/disposition. Eczema creeped in, mid-2011.
