The Nine Principles of Physcial Health and Vitality
exerpts from the Book: The Heart of Health: the principles of physical health and vitality
- Positive Mental and Emotional Attitude - Thoughts and emotions have an electromagnetic frequency vibration that is perceived by every cell in the body through the instant communication system of scalar waves. Negative thoughts and emotions can interfere with the electromagnetic, biophoton signaling at the cellular membrane and DNA levels. When this happens, the communication signals become chaotic and cellular information and instructions for enzyme and protein formation become blocked.
- Physical Ecology (pH) - Within our internal ecology our bloodstream and lymphatic system act like a stream that is an environment or ecosystem for frogs, fish and plant life. In order to avoid an ecological disaster, the acid/alkaline (pH) balance of the stream has to be just right or the water gets murky and full of germs. In such a polluted lake frogs may be born with five legs and three eyes, while plant life withers and the adjacent soil erodes. The whole eco-system dies. In the same way, our watery internal environment has to have a proper pH balance. If our internal ecology becomes polluted or stagnant, the entire eco-system, microorganisms as well as the body’s tissues and organs are also affected. In such a polluted body microorganisms that ordinarily live synergistically (helpfully and harmoniously) inside our body mutate and become pathogenic or disease producing.
- Diet and Cellualr Nutrition - The trillions of cells that make up our body reflect our positive mental and emotional outlook and our connection with our inner sense of self-worth and self-confidence. This connection provides a coherent energetic blueprint for the body’s communication network. When we are coherent and harmonious our cells are able to communicate via DNA signaling and hormone messengering. The cellular level is the most dense of energetic levels. It is the culmination of the subtle energy level, the molecular level, and the bio-energetic/bio-chemical level. It is at the physical cellular level that we live and express who we are. These trillions of cells require nutrients to carry out all of their billions of metabolic processes. In order to function at optimum levels, cells require specific micronutrients in exact proportions and ratios. These nutrients supply the cells with the ingredients they need to make proteins, to generate energy and to perform other physiological tasks like digestion, respiration, circulation, etc.
- Water - The human body is composed of 75 percent water. Brain tissue consists of 85 percent water. Water is involved in the regulation of every process and function of the body. All chemical reactions in the body require water. Hormones and neurotransmitters all rely on adequate solution (water) for transportation and utilization. Water provides structure to the body and increases the efficiency of all protein and enzyme activities. DNA is structurally supported by water and utilizes water pathways to communicate and direct cellular functions and activities. Water is required for all detoxification pathways in the body. The body does not function optimally without adequate levels of hydration.
- Breath - The oxygen our bodies take from the air is fundamental to our existence because it gives our cells the energy they need to function. When we inhale, oxygen enters the blood stream. There it combines with hemoglobin to make oxyhemoglobin in the red blood cells and the circulatory system then carries it to the tissues. Cell walls allow the oxygen to pass through and into the cytoplasm (inner cellular fluid), where it finally reaches the mitochondria (small organs or organelles) of the cell. Once in the mitochondria oxygen combines with glucose (natural sugar) to create Adrenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP are special chemical molecules that provide short-term stores of energy to the cells. Without a constant production of ATP the cells would stop functioning and we would quickly die.
- Sunshine - The sun is not only key to the production of oxygen needed for our existence, it also forces carbon, hydrogen and oxygen together within plants to form complex carbohydrate chains called sugars that provide us with our primary cellular energy source. The sun also provides other important metabolic functions. Sunshine on our bodies helps us to metabolize and better assimilate many needed nutrients. Sunshine on the skin is important in converting cholesterol into vitamin D an important cancer-fighting vitamin.
- Detoxification - A poor diet, exposure to environmental toxins, stress and negative thoughts put us outside Nature’s Cycle. Over time, toxins begin to accumulate and disrupt the harmony of our bio-ecology. If our intake of toxins exceeds the liver’s ability to eliminate them, eventually the toxins will back up and be deposited in our tissues, joints, and skin. Our ability to eliminate these toxins determines the status of our physical health.
- Movement and Fitness - Life is energy in motion. Movement is Life. Movement integrates your brain hemispheres. Movement produces endorphins of pleasure that boost your immune system. Movement orients you to yourself, to the environment and to others so you move in the direction of joy and love. Movement also produces and strengthens electrical fields in the body. Tissues in the body generate electric fields when they are compressed and stretched. With each step we take we are compressing bones, which generates an electrical field. When cartilage is compressed, or when the skin is stretched or bent, a minute electric pulsation results. The body is electric. Movement increases our energy levels by generating bio-electricity.
- Sleep - As important as movement is for the body the time when we are not moving while asleep allows the body to rest and repair. There are 4 levels of sleep from the light REM (rapid eye movement) stage to deep sleep stage 4, where the restorative process takes place. Studies have shown that those whose sleep was interrupted before falling into stage 4 over a two-week period developed chronic fatigue syndrome symptoms.
