Propolis is a wax-like resinous substance collected by honey bees from tree buds or other botanical sources and used as cement and to seal cracks or open spaces in the hive. It is used for relief of inflammation, viral diseases, ulcers, and superficial burns or scalds. Also believed to promote heart health, to reduce the chances of cataract and has local antibiotic and antifungal properties. Also used for treating allergies and stimulating the immune system. Should not be taken if severely allergic to bee stings.
Conditions fortified by Propoloplus according to traditional herbal literature; blood builder and purifier, strep shroat, tonsillitis, swollen lymph glands, Epstein Bar, viral infections, cytomegola virus, candida, fevers, anemia, spleen, thymus, influenza, pneumonia, herpes, diphtheria, tuberculosis.
