Lactase should be taken with Digestive because the Protease, Lipase, and Invertase enzymes in the Digestive are synergistic with Lactase. Protease will help break down the protein in milk, Lipase will help break down the fats in milk and Invertase helps break sucrose down into glucose and fructose.
Lactase helps the absorption of calcium. Lactase deficiency results in "lactose intolerance" in all dairy products and causes many discomforts.
If lactose is not broken down properly with the enzyme Lactase, it may cause many small intestinal discomforts.
