Dia-Verm is made from Diatomaceous Earth, a non-toxic, safe substance composed of fossils of freshwater organisms and marine life. Crushed into a fine powder and observed through a microscope, the particles resemble bits of broken glass. These are deadly to the parasite but completely harmless to the patient. The diatomaceous earth particles scratch through the outer wall of the parasite causing eventual death and ultimate expulsion. Parasite larvae is affected in the same way. This makes Dia-Verm an excellent and totally natural control for parasite infestation located in the GI tract.
